Kick me while I'm down why don't you

You know I told you my brain is all over the place at the moment, well the proof popped through the door the other morning.  A speeding ticket!!!!  The first one I have ever had :(  I do vaguely remember driving through a village, completely stressed mind on other things then realising I was going a bit fast, just my luck that a mobile speed camera was lurking there somewhere.  I am the one who always sticks to the limit, often to the annoyance of drivers behind me, and blow me I'm the one with a flipping fine.  I wasn't going very fast but I was over the limit so fair cop.  Of course I haven't changed the address on my driving license so that's a further complication I don't need.

The bearded one has also been ill for the last week with cold/cough combo which has now driven him to his bed, most unlike him.  I am up and down the stairs with food and drink for both him and my son and trying to stay positive.  I have to admit to shedding a few tears this morning.  My mum has been gone 16 years now but I really wanted to have my mum around to look after me.  I need a brake from being the adult, I just want to revert to being the child for a few hours.

Chickpea xx

  3. Sending virtual hugs. I have been caught twice speeding - both times out of character. Once in Africa when concentrating on a Braxton Hicks contraction and the second here in the UK when thinking about the minor surgery I was about to have on my back.... moral of the story? - don't drive and think!

  4. You've had a lot to worry about lately and you deserve to be looked after for a while. Sending you a virtual hug. I never had a speeding ticket but once got two tickets in one evening for driving in the bus lane. I got lost in the city centre and when I noticed I was in the bus lane, there was no other way than to go straight on, into another bus lane. Could have kicked myself! Take care x

  5. My heart broke a little to know that you got upset.
Getting up every morning and putting on those big girl knickers is very hard and like you I have wished for someone to take away all the responsibility just for a few hours.
If I lived closer I would be round to see if there was anything I could do to help but unfortunately I don't so all I can offer is a huge warm hug and positive thoughts.
    Take care-x-

  7. I think that at times like this it does you good to shed a few tears. I hope you're feeling a little brighter now.
You've had an awful lot to deal with lately. Know that I am thinking of you and sending warm wishes your way. X

  12. Chocolate and trash TV, that might help, as you seem to be stuck with being the adult at present. Oh and the occasional swear... Hope things are back to normal soon.

    1. I removed your comment because you were being hateful against another blogger and I had made no comments towards you, just deleted it. You are a sick individual who lives in a fantasy world, either go and get some help, go get a life or go fuck yourself. Your choice. From now on I will just delete without engaging in your sick games.

  16. Not the same as having your Mum I know but sending some virtual hugs. It sounds as though you don't need comments from sick individuals either. Take care of yourself xxx
