I have many projects on the go at the same time. I get bored with doing the same thing for a long time so I like to be able to pick something else up to work on for a while. Of course there are also the many UFO's - unfinished objects that have been started over the years and then abandoned. I decided that it would be a good idea to list my projects as a reminder to myself to get on with them! So here goes, I will add things as I find them stashed away in various drawers and boxes.
Aboriginal Quilt
I bought most of the fabric in Australia in 2012 and started the quilt this year 2014.
Paper piecing
Starting to sew them together
Afghan Crochet Blanket
Knitted Socks
Completed
Baby Cot Quilt
We have a new grandchild on the way so I am making a quilt. Hopefully it will be ready in time.
great projects, love the Australian quilt.
ReplyDeleteThanks Knitty :)
DeleteThe socks are lovely. I've yet to master the art of sock knitting as my skills aren't quite up to it. I've also not mastered crochet either. As a left-hander I find it impossible to follow most 'how to' crochet instructions as they suggest 'if you're left-handed just look at the diagrams in a mirror'. Hmm, not useful. Maybe I'll have another go using a YouTube tutorial.
ReplyDeleteThose socks are resting on a rather pretty patchwork quilt too. Handmade by you?
Hi valerie, yes I made the quilt, it is one of my favourites.
DeleteI have just started putting a WIP's page together hopefully it will embarrass me to get some finished, you have some lovely projects there :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's why I set up this page! It isn't working though...
